We have a cherry blossom viewing party every April at Wako Jurin Park in the city.

Japanese language class students decide on their own themes and give speeches in Japanese. In years when we do not hold a "Presentation Event," we have a "Japanese Learners Discussion Meeting".

Japanese language Class students and teachers are divide into groups and enjoy playing games or having discussions on the theme in Japanese.
Cooking Class
Invite a Japanese language Class student to be instructors and have them teach their own country's cuisine.
Year End Party
After the last Japanese language class in December every year, we have a year-end party. There are musical performances and bingo games, making it lively.
International Understanding Seminar
Japanese language class students give presentations in Japanese about their home country's culture and geography. This is part of the international understanding course at the Wakoshi Central Community Center.
